THE DELIVERY GUARANTEE

Four promises, in force from the depot gate to the doormat. Each one is printed in full, with the conditions underneath it.

    ON TIME OR THE SHIPPING IS ON US

    The van leaves at 06:40 and the box is at your door inside the window we quoted. Timing is measured at the door, which is where the driver is standing, and where he remains.

    Conditions

    The window closes when the parcel arrives, not when it is released. A parcel presented on time and withheld by its occupant is recorded as delivered on time.

  2. 02

    FULL PROTECTION IN TRANSIT

    Corners, lids, tape and contents are covered against crushing, soaking and drops from the top shelf of the vehicle. Our claims desk settles in three working days.

    Conditions

    Occupancy is not damage. A box that has been sat in is intact, warm and in the same condition it left the depot, plus the cat.

  3. 03

    SIGNATURE ON EVERY HANDOVER

    Nothing leaves the driver's hands without a signature on the sheet. The pen is supplied by us and the sheet is supplied by us.

    Conditions

    The signature must come from the party in possession of the parcel. At this address that party has no thumbs and no interest in the form.

  4. 04

    FREE RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS

    Changed your mind about the contents. Book a collection and the same driver comes back up the same four flights to take the box away.

    Conditions

    The box is returned in the state we find it. Our drivers are not trained to empty a box, and our insurer has asked us to say so in writing.
